A real estate transaction has a lot of moving parts. While most homebuyers and sellers will endure this process a handful of times in their lives, an experienced real estate agent like myself handles dozens of these transactions – every year. I'll make the process of purchasing a home easier, more enjoyable, less time-consuming, and less expensive than if you undertook this challenge on your own. I'll help you prepare to be perceived as a preferred buyer, help you locate and assess properties for sale here in the Comox Valley, that match your specifications, and help you through the myriad of details attending the actual purchase. 

Steps to Finding The Right Home

STEP 1… IDENTIFY THE TYPE OF PROPERTY YOU ARE LOOKING FOR

I'll determine the best properties for you to look at based on desirability, availability & affordability. I'll also get you set up on the Matrix MLS Portal, which is a system designed to keep buyers informed of new listings as soon as they come onto the market and to show them what’s available according to your criteria.

When a home that fits your search criteria is listed, you'll receive an email immediately informing you of the listing details. I can assist you in finding the perfect property - addressing everything on your wish list!

STEP 2… LOCATE THE BEST PROPERTIES

Based on what you've told me you're looking for, I'll find the best properties for you to view. I'm always familiar with the current homes on the market, and knows neighborhood values well, so I can help you determine which properties are fairly-priced and in good condition before you start your search.

STEP 3... VIEWING PROPERTIES

I'll show you properties within your search parameters and will guide you & advise you on all aspects of the buying process using my years of expertise.

STEP 4... DETAILED INVESTIGATION  

I'll find out all information about each property that you're interested in including zoning, detailed floor plans or anything else that you may have questions about.

STEP 5... SELECTION

With the right advice you'll select a property to make an offer on based on the location, condition and price point.  I have the best possible resources and communication systems available today to help you locate the homes on the market that match your specifications. STEP 6... NEGOTIATION

Under your direction I'll prepare a contract of purchase & sale then present it to the seller's agent. I'll also handle any issues or concerns that arise from the offer process. 

STEP 7... DUE DILIGENCE

I'll assist you in coordinating everything from the signed contract to completion including: financing, inspections & appraisals. 

My top priority is to make sure that your home buying experience is pleasant, cost-efficient, and successful.

STEP 8... COMPLETION

My final job will be to ensure a smooth closing through to completion & possession until I hand you the keys to your new home!
